Skyfall. 477 words in this lame open post. wearing. Bonnie was sat outside the school staring out into the distance, watching the trees sway in the winter breeze. Just a few nights till the next full moon, which meant all hell would break lose again in Mystic Falls. She cupped her chin into her palm and leaned onto the table. What a waste of a free period, she had no-where to go and her friends seemed just too busy for her these days. One was evil and the other was shacked up with someone evil. She felt alone and in need of guidance but she really didn't trust anyone anymore. Everything had changed and not for the better.
Pulling out her I-pod from inside her bag, she slid the earpieces into her ears and pressed play. Adele Skyfall was the song that she came to hear first. The lyrics, just seemed to hit a chord with her, she felt like she was holding her breathe all the time. Keeping her thoughts and her opinions to herself, she had no one to voice them too and it was starting to take its toll on the teenage witch. She lay down along the bench that adjoined the table and stared up at the clouds, watching them form their shapes and listened to every word and breathe that Adele made in her ear.
A tear trickled down her left cheek, she needed to put things right. Make Elena see sense, that she had to switch her humanity back on, she also needed Caroline's help to make sure that Stefan didn't turn his humanity off. Damon, well he was a lost cause but she knew he would keep it together and not go all psycho killer, well she hoped he wouldn't anyways. Then there was Klaus and his family, Katherine and so many others who could make the bad situation a whole lot worse.
As the song came to an end, Bonnie sighed and lay there motionless. Her thoughts one big jumble, one big task to do save the world.... She felt like she was in an episode of Heroes or something. Except for the fact that she seemed to be the only good guy, left in this town. What she wouldn't do for her grams right now, even if it was a bad idea. She'd even take a few words of wisdom from her estranged mother Abby right now too, which just goes to show how bad she was feeling.
Rolling her head to the side, she looked out at the school field. She saw a figure of a person walking towards, a mere silhouette unable to determine if it were male or female, the winter sun shone on them whoever it was. Bonnie squinted her gaze and sat up right on the bench, removing the earpieces from her ears and looked out at the person wondering who it was coming towards her.
